Cloud computing is a recent revelation of Information Communication Technology. The application of cloud computing in library and information services has brought a novel trend in the scheme of information provision and Services. Researchers from different parts of the world have tried to reveal some interesting traits of this new technological operation by exploring its possible application in different key areas of information access, storage, and Dissemination. This paper highlights the research reports and viewpoints of authors who have recently made precise contributions on cloud computing and its application in library management

Abstract
Public Library is for general public meant for increasing literacy level in all spheres in human society. Though Odisha Public Library legislation act has been enacted in the year of 2001, the real development of public libraries and the establishment of district, Talukas (Blocks) and village Libraries in all districts of Odisha has become a myth. The premier public library in Odisha which is y called as Harekrushna Mahtab (HKM) State Library has not been good enough for solving the literacy problems by becoming an aid in the educational systems in Odisha. The main purpose of this article is to find out the common problems and the basic amenities of addressed by the employees of this library for the upgradation of public libraries in India in general and HKM State library in particular.

JOURNAL BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS: A CASE STUDY ON QUALITY ASSURANCE IN EDUCATION

Abstract:-The paper examines the pattern of publications of the journal Quality Assurance in Education
(QAE) from 2008 to 2012 and reveals various facets of its publications through key bibliometric
measures. The study analyses publications of the QAE from the year 2008 to 2012. The author explores
Scopus and Google Scholar to assess the impact and influence of individual papers through comparative
analysis of citations recorded in the respective indexing databases. The study finds that out of 112
articles published in the QAE from 2008 to 2012, the journal published a little over 22 articles per annum,
on an average. QAE authors have used 43.25 references per article on an average and the average pages
per article in the journal ranges from the lowest average of 16.73 in 2008 to the highest average of 19.26
in the year 2011. Majority of its authors have used 41 to 50 references and e-citations in the journal are
found less in comparison to that of journals and books. 2012 'Impact Factor' of the journal based on
Scopus citations is found to be 1.047 while it is 1.976 based on Google Scholar citations.
